About The Role

Burton Albion Football Club is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Academy Medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to apply their skills within a professional football club environment and to work with young footballers within a thriving Club Academy.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, hardworking, and passionate about working within football. The successful candidate will be based in the North of England and will be covering our Academy game programme away games in the North East (Yorkshire) area. This is a part-time role requiring flexibility to work regular  weekends.

Required Working Days:

Essential – Weekend Away Games (Saturday/Sunday AM/PM)

Desirable – Evening Weekdays

Successful candidates will aid in the provision of medical services throughout the Academy to assist with the rehabilitation of injured Academy players as directed by the Lead Academy Physiotherapist. Working closely with the Lead Academy Physiotherapist and the coaching department, the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of player diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation are communicated.  Candidates will possess excellent communication skills and are proactive, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Employment with Burton Albion Football Club is conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (DBS), references and confirmation of qualifications. About The Candidate

Mandatory Qualification:

Physiotherapy/Sports Therapy BSc (Completed).

Intermediate Trauma and Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF).

Desirable Qualification:

Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF)
