About The Role

Full Time U21's Coach (Transitional Coach)
  • Develop and maximise potential in the Transitional Players Group (TPG) (individually & collectively) capable of consistently meeting Senior Professional playing standards with LOFC &/or higher divisional Clubs.
  • To ensure delivery of relevant, innovative & enjoyable coaching practice across the YDP/PDP with particular regard to the TPG group.
  • Liaise and coordinate PDP/TPG/First XI schedules including communicating all necessary information between relevant staff.
  • Uphold and demonstrate the values, standards and behaviours expected by LOFC both inside & outside the Club.
  • Manage and oversee all activities with the TPG squad to a high professional standard.
  • Feed talented young players into the Professional Game at the highest possible level.
  • Devise individual programmes for TPG players. 
  • Assist with loan Club/Club arrangements for player loans. 
  • Observe, support & feedback to players out on loan. 
  • Maintain records on Kitman Labs (for ISO/EPPP purposes). 
  • Support 1st Team Players & Staff within Training, Match & Analysis Preparation, Delivery & Review.
  • Monitor and report on individual player development through the Kitman Labs Development Journey.  

About The Candidate

Experience of working with/in at least 3 of the following Areas: 
An extensive range of coaching experience at all levels
Experience of working with EPPP
A mentoring/coaching role in the PDP 
The process of learning in coaches (andragogy)  
The process of learning in young people (pedagogy) 
Running and designing development programmes 
Football (coached or played at a high level) 
Leading a team 
Managing people 
Sport Psychology
 
UEFA A Coaching Licence
Coach Education Qualification (potential) 
Safeguarding and Protecting Children  
Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
UEFA Pro Licence desirable.
  FA Advanced Youth Award (PDP) or working towards.
Have ICT experience of Kitman Labs, Excel, Word and any other software as required in order to carry out the duties required for the job.
