Therefore, we require a hard-working, open-minded, passionate & humble individual within the role of Academy Education Lead (Maternity Cover). The purpose of the role will be to:

As a thoughtful and skilled teacher, you’ll know how to get the best out of a wide range of learners through well-planned, high-quality, and engaging delivery.

You’ll be hard-working and adaptable, thriving both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with Player Careand our interdisciplinary team to create a joined-up, holistic approach to every player’s development — on and off the pitch.

You’ll be open-minded and innovative, using your experience to drive progress and help us become a world-leading football academy. Above all, you’ll believe that true development goes beyond football — empowering every individual to discover who they are and reach their full potential on and off the pitch.

 

The successful candidate will need to hold the following qualifications and experience:

  • BEd, BA, or BSc degree or equivalent 
  • QTS Teaching Qualification
  • Background in BTEC delivery (Desirable)
  • Background in SEP delivery (Desirable)
  • Experience of working in a sporting environment (Desirable)
  • Valid & up-to-date Safeguarding certificate & DBS
