A minimum of 37.5 hours per week and any additional hours necessary for the performance of duties. This may include evening and weekend work.

1. Job purpose:
|
To lead and deliver performance analysis support for the Youth Development Phase (U13–U16), ensuring alignment with the Academy Performance Plan (APP). The role focuses on providing high-quality video and data analysis to enhance player development, coach support, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
|
|
2. Duties and responsibilities:
|
Performance Analysis Delivery
- Plan and deliver pre-match, in-match, and post-match analysis for U13–U16 teams.
- Capture, code, and upload match and training footage to designated platforms (e.g., Hudl).
- Provide individual and team feedback through video sessions and data insights.
- Support coaches in creating Development Action Plans (DAPs) for players.
Data & Technology Integration
- Use analysis tools (SportsCode, Hudl, Wyscout, Coach Paint) to provide objective insights.
- Maintain performance databases and dashboards for Youth Development Phase players.
- Ensure compliance with EPPP and audit requirements.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with coaches, sports science, and recruitment teams to integrate analysis into player development programmes.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary meetings and player reviews.
Player & Staff Development
- Deliver age-appropriate learning interventions and feedback sessions.
- Support coach education through analysis resources and workshops.
Safeguarding & Welfare
- To be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all staff, customers and clients of the Club.
- Embed safeguarding principles in all analysis practices.
- Ensure confidentiality and psychological safety during feedback processes.

3. Skills required:
|
- Strong video and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in SportsCode (essential), Hudl, Wyscout, Coach Paint (desirable).
- Competence in Microsoft Office and video capture equipment.

- Understanding of football tactics and technical development for U13–U16 age groups.
- Familiarity with EPPP requirements and Academy audit processes.
- Awareness of holistic player development frameworks.
- Understanding of safeguarding protocols.
