About The Role

Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation (MFCF) is the Club’s independent charity with the mission to harness the passion and power of the football club brand, raise aspirations and improve the life chances of young people and adults across Teesside.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to help raise funds by selling Jackpot Tickets to help the charity deliver positive change within the Teesside community.

As a representative for the Foundation and Club, this role is integral to providing an excellent customer service to all our supporters.

You will be responsible for:

The sale of tickets for the Boro Jackpot and spreading the message of Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation to supporters.

Ensuring accuracy of cash transactions and security of funds and be responsible for all ticket stock allocated

Following all Health and Safety Policies and procedures involving customers and staff alongside adherence to Safeguarding policies and procedures.

Providing a customer service which positively reflects the Foundation and Club in a professional manner.

Attend all appropriate training sessions organised by Middlesbrough Football Club and Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation.

This position is to work match days which will fall on evenings and weekends, there is a requirement to work all match day events - you can see a list of fixtures on the Middlesbrough Football Club website. The average hours for this position are around 1.5 - 3 hours per game.
 
This is a sales role with an expectation to achieve a set target, if you achieve this then commission will be offered in addition to your base rate.
 

About The Candidate

Possess an outgoing, enthusiastic personality with the confidence to approach groups and individuals to drive sales.
 
Be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, exceptional communication skills and the ability to adapt communication methods to best engage with a variety of customers.
 
A professional attitude and positive work ethic.
 
Be motivated to achieve and exceed set sales targets.
 
Possess a high level of numeracy and cash handling skills.
 
Candidates must be:
Over 18

The successful applicant will not be able to start working for the Foundation until the DBS check has been completed.

The Foundation will also seek the successful candidate's consent for obtaining two written references and to ask for documentary proof of qualifications and right to work in the UK. Any offer of employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.

Once in post, all new staff will receive a comprehensive safeguarding induction from our Designated Safeguarding Officer, as well as ongoing safeguarding training
