Youth Football Operations & Safeguarding lead

We have an exciting new opportunity to join Harrogate Town AFC as our Youth Football Operations & Safeguarding Lead Officer. This is a unique and vital position that combines two key areas of responsibility.

In this role, you will take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of welfare and protection for children and young people involved in our football activities. You will also manage the day-to-day administration and operational support for our youth football programmes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

This position is central to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for young players, while supporting coaches, parents, and staff to deliver an exceptional experience both on and off the pitch.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven safeguarding experience within a youth or sports setting.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of FA/EFL safeguarding standards (desirable).
