Academy Driver/Transport Planner in Reading - EFL (English Football League)

About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering transport requirements to academy players, staff, and associated others as part of the transport team and wider academy operations department as well as planning and reviewing the transport provision for the Academy

Key Accountabilities:

To facilitate the transport of Academy players, staff and associated others in line with the regular weekly operations requirements
To plan and review the transport provision for the Academy
To ensure that all individuals travelling in vehicles under your supervision conduct themselves in line with the club values and comply with safeguarding protocols at all times
To liaise with all relevant staff, where appropriate, to ensure that information, relevant to duties, is communicated effectively
To ensure safeguarding and player welfare is always the primary consideration in all activities
To attend all relevant staff meetings unless exceptional circumstances apply
To respond to supporter enquiries in line with Reading Football Club Charter guidelines, maintaining professionalism and consistency at all times.
To undertake ad hoc duties and provide cover for other team responsibilities when required, in line with business needs.

About The Candidate

Qualifications / Experience

Essential

D1/D1 (101)
Drivers CPC qualification resulting in CQD
Experience of driving a minibus
Willingness to undertake Continued Professional Development organised by Reading Football Club.
Completion of Safeguarding Training.
Completion of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion training.

Desirable

Previous experience of working with young people
