Casual Fan Support Team - Reading Football Club in Reading

About The Role

We are looking for staff to join our busy Fan Support team working on a match day at the Select Car Leasing Stadium

The successful candidate will be able to assist all supporters with safe and efficient entry to the Stadium whilst delivering excellent customer service when dealing with supporter queries

Key Accountabilities:

To be trained in the use of a personal digital assistance device (PDA) ensuring supporters are admitted to the stadium correctly
To deal proactively, knowledgeably and courteously with supporter queries, providing a written report of any action taken to resolve them
To direct supporters to seating areas by checking tickets
To demonstrate consistently outstanding levels of effective communication and customer service
To carry out any other tasks as directed by your line managers, such as:
To ensure that disabled bays are kept clear for the use of disabled supporters, and make sure that supporters do not stand in front of the disabled bays whereby restricting the view of supporters using the area.
To assist with the exit from the Stadium at half time those supporters wishing to smoke, and the re-entry into the correct area of the stadium at the end of half time

About The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an ambassador and role model for all Club values and ways of working and exude a can-do attitude to work

You will posses strong verbal & written communication skills, be able to work well on your own and as part of a team, have a pro-actice and positive attitude, and be resilient to difficult situations

Training will be given on the use of the personal digital assistance devices and the Ticket Entry system

Previous customer service experience would be an advantage but is not essential
