About The Role

We are looking for both experienced and enthusiastic individuals to coach at our Enfield Regional Centre on Friday nights, for the 2026/27 season. The role involved running weekly sessions for U8-U13 age groups throughout term time, within a professional club environment. There are also additional opportunities to take half-term fixtures, alongside progression within the club from a coaching capacity.

The successful candidates will be required to plan, deliver, and complete administration for their respective age groups, including weekly registers, and 12-week progression reports. All sessions will be expected to be aligned to the club curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, focusing upon the individual development of the players attending.

The role requires strong leadership, organisation, and the ability to connect with our young players, with the view of maximising player development during sessions.

Requirements

  • UEFA C License (minimum)
  • Minimum of 2 years coaching experience
  • DBS etc (whatever we usually require)

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about player development and committed to supporting every individual on their journey through the game. They will have the ability to create an inspiring, inclusive, and structured environment where players feel valued, motivated, and challenged to reach their full potential. This includes demonstrating a strong understanding of the Academy’s coaching philosophy and ensuring that all sessions, practices, and interactions are aligned with the long-term player development framework. The successful candidate will also be adaptable in their approach, able to respond to the differing needs of players, and proactive in fostering a positive culture that encourages growth both on and off the pitch.

About The Club

Founded in 1976 as Stevenage Borough Football Club, we dropped the 'Borough' from our name in 2010 when we won promotion to the English Football League for the first time in our history, although it has stuck as our nickname.

We currently play in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of English football. Our home games are played at The Lamex Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,800 supporters.

Over the years, we have achieved a huge amount in our relatively short history: including 2 FA Trophies, 2 Conference National titles, a League Two Play-Off Trophy & automatic promotion to League One in 2023.
