About The Role

Key objectives of the role:

  • To assist the delivery of coaching sessions for the Under 16 Girls’ team.
  • To plan, prepare and evaluate coaching sessions in line with the Coaching programme and syllabus, as directed by the Women and Girl’s Technical Lead.
  • To keep accurate records of coaching sessions, fixtures, learning objectives, and other necessary work as required within an appropriate time frame.
  • To work collaboratively with the Women and Girl’s Technical Lead to devise individual learning plans for players and share updates regarding progress.
  • To lead on individual reviews and parents’ meetings in line with their individual learning plans.
  • To assist with the management of the U16 age-group on match-days as necessary, this includes liaising with opposition, match officials and other key stakeholders.
  • To provide a point of liaison for the relevant age group parents/guardians or player leading on communication.
 
What will be doing?
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality coaching sessions, mainly with our youth, under-16 age-group, aligned to our Coaching programme and syllabus. You will be expected to develop players based on their individual needs to support their transition between age groups. Whilst also managing teams on match-days as per the age-groups fixture programme in the Junior Premier League.

What are we looking for?

  • UEFA-C Licence.
  • IFAIF certification.
  • FA Safeguarding certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Nice to have

  • UEFA-B Licence.
  • Experience of working in the football industry.
