About The Role

As a Non-Executive Trustee of The Grimsby Town Foundation, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing strategic oversight, governance, and independent challenge to ensure the Foundation delivers its mission effectively, transparently and sustainably. 

You will be expected to attend Board meetings, which take place up to five times per year.  You will engage in strategic discussions and decision making and commit your time and expertise to support the Community Director, Senior Management Team and Board in shaping the future of our programmes and supporting our mission.

Positions will be offered for an initial term of three years.
 
The specific responsibilities for this role are as follows;
  • Expertise in addressing health inequalities and promoting wellbeing within communities.
  • Understanding of public health policies and strategies, particularly at a local level.
  • Experience working on mental health, physical activity or nutrition initiatives.
  • Capacity to advise on health-related programme design and evaluation.

Established in 2008, Grimsby Town Foundation is a charitable status Club Community Organisation.  Through association with Grimsby Town Football Club, we believe, by utilising the brand, reach and reputation of the Club, we can help people in our community to live happier, healthier lives by creating opportunities whether that be in football, sport, recreation or education.
