About The Role

Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club we have an exciting opportunity to join our matchday team as a Hawthorns Helper. 
 
As a Hawthorns helper you will be the clubs face of help and support on matchdays and potentially events that are held at the Hawthorns Stadium. You will be part of a team that will offer guidance and assistance to visiting fans, home and away, to enhance their customer experience.  You will be deployed into areas on the perimeter of the stadium pre match and into Concourses within the stadium during the match. You will be identified by a uniform provided by the club. Training in customer service and Safeguarding will be provided.

About The Candidate

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Hawthorns stadium and surrounding local area.
  • Highly organised and methodical approach to workload
  • Confidential and diplomatic
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  •  Right to Work in the UK
Desirable Criteria 
  • Background in safeguarding
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience of working with children and or Vulnerable adults
  • Experience of working at large scale public events.
  • Full driving license
