About The Role

Are you an organised and motivated individual looking to start or develop your career in administration and HR? Hull City and SMC are seeking a HR & Safer Recruitment Administrator to support our HR and Safer Recruitment functions.

Join us to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our recruitment and administrative processes, while representing our organisation with professionalism and integrity.

 

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: MKM Stadium, Hull HU3 6HU

Salary: £25,000-£26,000

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Support the recruitment cycle: assist with job adverts, shortlisting, and interview arrangements.
  • Assist the HR Department with onboarding new starters: conduct pre-employment checks (DBS & References), send offer letters and contracts, and track necessary paperwork.
  • Coordinate staff e-learning invitations and monitor training completions.
  • Maintain accurate electronic staff files and records.
  • Provide administration support to the Head of Safeguarding, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment policies.
  • Assist with managing DBS renewals and tracking Right to Work documentation.
  • Support general office tasks, including post handling and supply ordering.

About The Candidate

What are we looking for?

 

Essential:

 

  • Previous experience in administration
  • A good standard of general education.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Commitment to personal development and upholding club values.

 

Desirable:

 

  • Previous experience in a HR, or safeguarding function
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and HR legislation
  • Experience within elite sports or educational environments

 

Eligibility for Employment in the UK
